Promise ami Performance Air Alasscy talks glibly about borrowing ceasing or tapering off, but such an announcement does not ling true or appear sincere when we reflect that just a few weeks ago Air Massey asked and obtained authority to borrow £6.000.000- £4,000,000 for public works and £2,000,000 for advances to settlers—and he would have added another £1,000,000 to the total to help the “financially embarrassed” farmers’ companies but' for the outcry from the business community .
