Alary Miles Minfer, the charming little star who has delighted thousands by many of her delightful comedy dramas, is the star in “Wives, and Other Wives” at the Princess Theatre l on , Wednesday. This story is by all odds one of the most enjoyable comedies that have been seen in many a day. Miss Mintor is in the role of a young 1 1 ride who a few days before her marriage discovers that her husband spends, too much time reading the newspapers. So she contrives a plan to arouse his jealousy. She lets him see her sneaking some love lettors into the fire and when he asks her questions about them she refuses to answer. Straightaway hubby is jealous. Then there are many complications which make one of the most amusing screen plays imaginable. A Topical Budget, a two-reel comedy and the latest Pathe Review will also be shown.

On Thursday “Stranger than Fiction” a First National Feature with Kathleen MacDonald .and Wesley. In this fcatpre Wesley Barry takes the part of “Freckles” a role that is .somewhat reminiscent of Binty. The little fellow attracts the attention of Diane Droxel, society girl, played by Miss MacDonald, during one of her visits to the slums. She takes him into hci fashionable home. Some splendid comedv situations arise as a result of the fact trat 13-year old Freckles falls in love with his beautiful protector. Into the story is woven a clever plot that deals with the efforts of society to cope with criminals. When the police of 0110 of the larger cities fails to apprehend the Black Heart Gang, society takes a hand with the result that the gang is finally caught after many thrilling and gripping situations.
