A large road mine, carried by a party of men near Inchiqore, suddenly exploded. Three were blown to pieces and three shockingly wounded. It is believed it was intended for an am-

bush on a road frequently used by nationals. A party of troops returning to barracks rushed to the scene soon afterwards, and rendered aid. The shock of the explosion was felt in the village and many were rendered temporarily deaf. TRIAL ENDED. LONDON, November 19. Childers trial on a charge of being in illegal possession of arms has ended. The finding will be promulgated later. I-lUNGER STRIKERS.

LONDON, November 19. The hunger strike of the Sisters MacSwiney continues. Mary, inside, has not oaten for fifteen days. Annie remains outside the prison. She is not taking food, hut' praying. She is watched by hundreds.
