Proposed that the lease of the Kokatalii Hall as amended, he approved anil the Vice President' and Secretary to fix the seal to net essary t'ociuneii .s. Resolved that consideration of the Fencing Act ns it applies to Westland be a special matter for next meeting. The Vito President, Secretary and Mr* Dalgliesli to represent the Assu'-ia-tion in matters connected with the Westland Diamond Jubilee Industrial Exhibition. ft wjjs decided to hold the Annual Show early in March, definite date to be fixed at next meeting. Resolved that the same collectors and programme committee be appointed as last year. It was resolved that this Executive as representing the primary producers of Westland deplore that farmer owners of the steamer “Tiroa” lound it necessary to concede their seamen’s demands for higher pay than the Arbitration Court which is an impartial tribunal, considered right and at this time of stress appeals to every individual associated with the business to do all that lies in his power to reduce the cost of transport and distrlbuiton of all products. A unanimous vote of thanks and appreciation was accorded Mr Scott, who is leaving the district, being transferred to Titnaru, for his services to the Association and that it he put on record/ that his services to the district have been greatly appreciated by farmers, Mr Scott was also elected a life member of the Association.
