GENERAL ELECTION.
AIR SICDDON AT OTIK-A. Mr Seddon is continuing his northern tour successfully. At Otira last night, j ho addressed a very large-meeting. The .ball was packed to overflowing, and the member had a most attentive hearing. ! besides general political topics, Mr BedI don dealt with •tunnel matters, labour ! questions, and the policy of the Literal ! Party. There were a number of <|uestioiis, and the answers met with general approbation. The meeting was presided over hv Mr AI. Fitzgerald, .HP. At the close of tho questions, Air H. Shep- ' . herd proposed a vote of thanks and con- : iidence. The motion was seconded bv ' Mrs Singer, and carried unanimously. Air Seddon is working down the Otira ' railway line to-day. and will speak at different points to-day and to-mR., and will continue in that locality til - Fridov, after which lie will <omc mt " this part of the electorate, opening at Kokatahi
