TUESDAY, NOV. 14th. NOTICES OF MOTION. ORDINARY MEETING. (To sit at 2 p.m.) I.—Tlie Chairman to move;—“That accounts presented for the month of October. 1922. as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £— he passed for payment.”
2. —The Chairman to move :—-“That the Council resolve with Committee of the Whole to consider the Treasurer’s report in respect to the maintenance and upkeep of Lake Kaiiieri road, deferred from last Council meeting.” 3. —The Chairman to move:—“That while in Committee of the Whole, the Council consider the Overseer's report in respect to acquiring a portable stone crushing plant for use oil the County roads.” 4. —The Chairman to move:—‘That John Peake he appointed Valuer of mining property for the County ol Westland for the ensuing year on the same terms and conditions as previously.'' o.—Cr Chinn to move: —“That representations lie made to the \ ablation Department to complete the revaluation of the County omitted recently. namely the. ijrca south of the Waiho river, such revaluation to he avaWablu for next year’s rating proposals. o.—Cr Wells to move :—“That repairs to lower Adair’s Road he authorised ; cost (including re-opening of pit) about £l!h“ 7.—Cr Wells to move: —“Mint necessary repairs he carried mil to Back Crook road; cost about £12.” .SPECIAL MEETING. (To sit at 3 p.m.) I.—The Chairman to move :—“That the Council proceed to pass by snecial order, a by-law as Ix'lore tiie meeting for < onsidoratioii, providing for lb.i licensing of vehicles "Using and road .. it hiii the Comity, and prohibiting the osc of vehicles on such reads without a Ik disc ; and appointing Ices to lie paid lo the ( oiiiitv Fund in respect to the lio-iising of vehicles as aloresaid.
