THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES.
Futile - Labour Asviiiatioxs. “We have three parties in this country,” said Air G. W. Forbes in the course of his political address at Amberloy last week. ‘There is no disguising the fact that we have a Labour Party led by Messrs Holland and Fraser and other men of that sort. They belong to a very extreme section. There is no doubt about it—they have no conception about the responsibilities of government. There is not the slightest chance of their getting into power. The very fact of the wildness of their utterances makes it impossible for them to lie looked upon seriously.”
