These discoveries are said to have followed file arrest of the beggar’s chauffeur, some hypodermic needles, it is said, having been found in his ear. The chauffeur was released. The beggar, who is said to he known as Afr Hector Malone, refused to pay the lawyer’s fee. The lawyer .obtained judgment against him, and yesterday two sheriffs went to Alr Alnhme’s hotel, and served him with a judgment summons. They recognised the man as the boggar.
He was also recognised by newspaper reporters who wore called by the sheriffs to complete identification. They found him smoking a cigar held between fingers adorned with two diamontli rings. Tn a corner was a pair of aluminium legs. Mounting these and in evening dress, the beggar, said the hotel employees, would sally forth each night with his wife on pleasure bout. ■He lost his logs in a railway accident six years ago .
