The Orient Coy. announces n new 20,000 ton vessel, which will a cco in modate 25!), of six hundred saloon passengers, •in single berth cabins. The vessel will have accommodation for 1,250 passengers and space is being provided in insulated holds for 4,000 tons of refrigerated cargo.
AERIAL .MAIL. BRISBANE, Nov. 7
The first mail aeroplane from Cliarleville to (Torn-tiny arrived at the latter town ten minutes ahead of the scheduled time. The aviators were warmly welcomed at Longrcaeli at which place letters arrived from Charleville within sixteen hours, instead of six days previously taken for flic journey.
