“Fifty men armed with sawed-off shotguns, raided Foust’s distillery, at Glen Rock, York County, early yesterday, overpowered guards and stole 181 banels of whisky. Sixteen motor trucks were needed to carry the whisky away. The stock is valued at 181,- : 000 dollars. | “It was the second attempt in a week to raid the distillery. Late Thursday twelve men in motor-trucks drove up to the distillery, and overpowered the guards with drawn pistols.”—Philadelphia Public Ledger, July 16, 1922.
