It was ridiculous to suggest that the Liberal . Party if it got into power would he at the mercy of the Reels. There was no possibility of the Liberals carrying out any policy but their own. They would carry -out neither Mr Massey’s nor the Red Feds’ poliev, but would carry out their own. The Red Fed talk was Mr Massey’s bogey mail and was used solely for the purpose of scaring timid electors. —The Liberal Chief Whip.
