The Treasury had informed him that revenue for the expired period of the linancinl year was well up to the estimate, and the main heads of revenue were showing signs of improvement. Constant pressure was being kept on the Department to keep the expenditure down to a minimum. The House rose at 11.50 n.m. till 2.30 p.m.
