Dear Mrs Yotiknow, You will he surprised to gel a letter from me written on Monday morning. “How do I find time to write on washing day?” you will ask. Well, the answer is simple. Last week I looked in at Mr Shannon’s in Revel! Street, and saw the economic gas copper and also the latest gas cooker. Mr Shannon gave me a demonstration and I was impressed. 1 managed to impress hubby later in the day, with the result that the copper was installed and used to-day for the first time. I had an extra ■ wash too, but everything went through so comfortably. There was no delay or lost time. .Tust a match to light up in the morning, and before I had time for my early cup of ten the water was boiling, and T was able to go right ahead. Tts so economical, too. Mr Heinz was passing and he “took” the meter for me. I had burned only a few pennyworth of gas! Just fancy. T’m in love with that gas cooker now, and if hubby can manage it on next month’s pay I shall certainly order one. I am sure it will be quite worth while for you to look into the matter too.
