I Messrs H A. Thompson and 0. Walker i la d charge of the floor, and dancing was heft going to an early hour. On the stage was a brave array of trophies and just before the supper adjournment the presentation of prir.es and trophies won during the season were made hy Mr F. McGregor, Chairman of the Sub-Union. In doing so, Mr McGregor table the occasion to thank the many donors for their ( valuable trophies, to compliment the several winners on their success,, and to thank all who had helped the Sr.li-IJnion during the season and at the hall that evening. The presentations were then made the various announcements being received with applause as the trophies wore presented to the representatives of the various clubs. The presentations were as follows: Fowler Cu"- To winners of the senior championship- T nited Club. The Barnet Glass Cun was also presented, to he held for the seoson.
Breeze Shield—To winners of the challenge round of the three, leading senior teams —Excelsior Club. Central Cup (presented by Mr Amos Dowell) for winners of the seren-a-sido senior tournament Excelsior Club. .junior Banner (presented hy Mr F. AieUiogur)—To Excelsior juniors winners of the junior cup competition. Pioneer Cup (presented hy Mrs Hunter) and Bruekleliurst Cup (presented by ALi s Broeklelmrst) to Arab lira Club, winners of the seven-a-sidc junior tournament.
Rugby Union Cup for primary schools competition—District High School. Rugby U nion Cup for secondary schools—District High School. Wright Stephenson Cup—This handsome trophy that had been competed for between District High Schools of Holler, Grey, and Ifokitika, having been won on six consecutive occasions, now becomes the absolute property of (lie Hokitika District High School—a highly creditable record.
Keller’s Cup—For winners of the fourth grade competition United Club.
Admirers Chip- Presented by a number of admirers to Roveis Club, winners of the fifth grade competition
Evans medal Presented by Mr D ,T. Evans for the winner of the kicking competition—Air 11. Williams.
Cm ter Medal- Presented hy Air AV. Carter for the most successful drop kicker in matches (loving the season.— Air S. Breeze. Afedal for the mosl improved player in the Arahurn team. —Air D. Tainui.
