Alan .Dwfcn, who wrote and directed the fenturo, has conceived a story which demands attention because of its dramutie sweep and the lesson it teaches—that of show ing toleration. The heroine is a good girl, healthy and normal, but her father is always condemning her because she does not live up to his religious scruples. When she remains away from home through suffering accident, the father upbraids her and advises her to kill herself. Disappointed in this direction he compels her to marry a drunken derelict. The story progresses through several dramatic and romantic scenes which are appealing and rich in atmosphere. A special holiday supporting programme will ullso he shown including the latest Bathe On set to and a Mack Sennett two-reel comedy entitled “She by the Seaside.’’ The orchestra will play a sleeted programme.
