WELLINGTON, Oct. 20 THE COUNCIL.
The Council met at 2.30 p.m. Alosgiel Borough Empowering Bill was passed with minor amendment. The following hills were read a second time pro forma and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee — Magistrate’s Court Amendment; Fencing Amendment and Harbours Amendment. The Council adjourned at 1.31 p.m. THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. In the House the following hills' pissed nil stages—Stamp Duties Bill ; Cemeteries Amendment; Companies' Amendment and Crimes Amendment. The House rose at 11.30 p.m.
