Messrs M. Houston and Co., report in connection with their announced auction sale on Thursday of properties at Araiiura Valley and Kawhaka on behalf of Mrs S. E'. Hnrcoiirt. that toe lots were passed at- auction but "ere subsequently sold privately as follows :-
Lot 1. Homestead block containing 55 acres I rood 32 perches and Lot 3 property known at Kawhaka containing 70 acres, to Mr E. AV. Mills of Humphreys for £1950. Eat. 2. The properly known as “Dwyer’s” containing 94 acres to Mr Owen MeC uigan. formerly of Kanieri and Dunedin at £l6 per acre.
