fnv TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION] BENEFIT TROTTING .MEETING. CHHISTCHURH, Oct. 7. To-day there was held here a benefit trotting meeting (non-totalisalor), in aid of the Lewisham Hospital Imilfling fund. It attracted a large crowd to the Metropolitan Club’s grounds. The 'principal event was the Lewisham Handicap, for horses nominated for the New Zealand Trotting Cup. It resulted:—
