GREY V. WESTLAND,

The representative match between Grey and Westland for the Dittman Shield took place on Cass Square on Saturday afternoon and resulted in a win for" Westland by 6 points (a try , by AVogon and a penalty goal by IIoss) to nil. STARS V. EXCELSIORS. Teams representing the juniors ot Stars (Ureyl and Excelsiors met on Xo 2 ground, which was heavy and wet. After an interesting game Excelsiors were returned the winners by 11 points to 6 points. slr Sumner was referee, for Excelsiors tries were scored by Andrews and Montague, Ait he n converting one and kicking a penalty goal. For Stars tries were scored by Johnson and Brown. KIWIS V. COR DEN. Kiwi juniors travelled to Cobden where they suffered 'defeat by 1!) points (■'> tries, 2 converted*) to 3 points (a try).
