Harkortsche Chemical factory at Gotha holds the record with a combined dividend and bonus of 150 per cent. Another chemical factory paid a dividend of thirty per cent and a bonus ol seventy s<: the shareholders recover their capital on the year’s working. Another declared a dividend of thirty-eight per cent, compared with twenty last year. One mining company increased its dividond from sixteen to thirty per cent. Engineering prosperity is indicated by a fifty per cent dividend of AVottan Works. Leipzig. Among the minor industries Silbncher sugar factory returns fifty per cent. Tlildes Rimer liidiaruhber goods factories fifty per cent plus thirty-five per cent bonus. All these are selected from one <kiv’s renoits.
