! Tlie Annual Meeting of tin? All Saints Tennis Club was hold in the Pavilion last, evening, a good number of members being present. The President—(Rev. I’urchas) occupied the chair; The balance sheet anl report were adopted. The election of officers resulted: President—Rev. I’urchas; the list of Vice-Presidents was added to bv G. A. Perry, and J. A. Murdoch. Club Captain—Miss 1). Wallace. Vice-Captain—Mr C. K. Heinz. Hon. Secretary—Mr C. E. Heinz. Hon. Treasurer—Mr .T. B. Ward. Committee:—Mrs Benjamin. -Misses T.. Knight, L. Fane, and A. Andrews. Messrs Wogan. Ogg and Aitken. Mr TTrqiihart was re-elected Auditor and a hearty vote of thanks was
passed for services rendered. The President in his remarks stressed the need of funds for necessary improvements to the courts. Numerous schemes were discussed. It was decided to hold a tournament during the season open to nil clubs in the Distiret. To this purpose Mrs Hunter and Mr. Bain generously donated trophies. It was also decided to bold a Paddy’s Market sometime in December.
A *ooJ number of new members expressed their willingness to join up this season and there are still vacancies for more men. The season will open on Saturday 11th. October, weather permitting. After Several minor business items had been discussed the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
