The Steffansson to-day received a telegram from Nome, Alaska, station •the schooner “Teddy Hear (alioshold op liy ice was cabled on Septenihcr 21) has now arrived at Nome saleIv, after lighting through the ice in the Arctic, where she was almost helplessly adrift. The message said the relief expedition to the Canadians on Wrangel Island was a lailnre. Stellansson says he intends to send another relief expedition which may lie formed next July. The “Teddy Bear sighted two ships caught in the me which she herself escaped from by the aid of block and tackle.
