Australian and n.z. cable association FILM REVOLUTION. NEW YORK, September 21. A syndicate of forty-five prominent American business men lias subscribed one million dollars for the exploitn- , tion of a process of colouring moving pictures in natural tints. It lias been invented by Mr Daniel Comstock, who is connected with the Mnssaelmssetts Institute of Technology. One picture, of five reels, ' already completed, lias been shown privately and is highly praised. It is a vast improvement over the prisms colouring. The new invention requires a special camera It produces a negative in appearance similar to the old negatives hut following on its immersion in a special chemical hath, it shows a complete colouring as in nature. The invention is expected to revolutionise cinematography.
