Roberts to-ilav continued the presentation of the M’utersiders Federation ease to the Arbitration Court. He submitted figures showing relation which Labour bore to the value of some of the commodities handled. In regard to butter, the watersider was paid .02 of a penny per pound for his labour, ot one fiftieth of a penny per pound. Labour received 2s ltd per toil for handling coal. He also gave the cost of handling meat, cheese etc., anil maintained that the cost of handling commodities on the waterfront, was infinitesmall compared with the value of the commodities handled.
