Mercantile Law Amendment Bill and Sea Carriage Goods Bill were both read a second time pro forma and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. Tile following local bills were read a second time—AVnirnu Harbour Board Empowering; Gisborne Harbour Board Enabling Amendment; AVhakatane Harbour Amendment ; AVairau River District Loan. The Council adjourned at 4.43 p.m. THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. Tlie House passed the second rending of the War Disabilities Removal Bill and AVeiglit and Aleasures Amendment Bill. The House rose at 10.30 p.m.
