On Thursday Pollards are screening a First National Feature “Salvation Nell” starring Pauline Starke. An appealing story of a girl motherlove. The story of a girl who was dow;n, hut never ,-out. She lived among the tilth and scum'of New York, hut she fought n fight that few women in her position would have thought worth while fighting. Then when the child came, “He’s ours Jim, Won’t you go nwav and give him the chance you and I never had?” That’s Nell for you. Foregoing love tor the man of whom slut had made good, for i the sake of her boy and his. '-She’d, real. She’s human, she brings to the world a human understanding of girlmother love. That role made famous on the stage by Mrs Fiske, becomes a class when screen interpreted by Pauline Starke.
