There was keen interest last night in the boxing mulch between Brian M< - t'leary and Whittaker for a purse of £2OO and the light-heavy-weight championship of New Zealand. The fight went the full fifteen rounds, McCleary gaining the verdict, on points. The fight was full of interest light through.
