VISIT TO WESTPORT. (By Tolegraph.--Special to Guardian.) WESTPORT, Sept. 7. The ladies Hockey team arrived at fi pm. on Wednesday after a good trip and fine weather. We received a hearty welcome and were entertained at a dancci in the evening.by the Ruller Association. The match with Westport was played on Victoria Square in glorious weather, before a large crowd of spectators. From the play off Westport attacked, but Hokitika cleared with good play by Misses Fane and Schroder, re-
suiting in a sc. re by the hitter. .Miss Fletcher evened ilie score fur Westport from a penalty Imllv at* half time. After resuming tlicire was even play, and then Westport, attacked. Miss Champion scoring. Hokitika continued to attack strongly, Miss M. Schroder sending in a hot shot which evened (die score. Even play saw time called with no further score. It was a very enjoyable game. The team wer entertained at tea afterwards. The team arrive homo on Saturday evening, playing the lteefton Cjub in the afternoon
