POLLARD’S PICTURES. E. J. AND DAN CARROLL PRESENT "THE BLUE MOUNTAIN MYSTERY." TO-NIGHT AND THURSDAY. The eagerly awaited, made in Australia picture, “The Blue Mountains Mystery” will bo serened at the Princess Theatre to-night and Thursday. The picture is produced by an Australian (Raymond Longford) from the story by anothor Australian (Harriison Owen). The role of Richard Naxon is played by Billy Williams, a young Australian of good appearance, who promises to earn a big name in the picture world. The much talkednf Henry Tracey is in the hands of John Faulkner, about the most powerful actor that has appeared in locally' made productions Mr Vivian Edwards, well-known to the dramatic stage, is seen as Hector Blunt, and provides a fine piece of character work. Bernice Yere, so popular in other Australian productions, plays Mabel Tracey, and Mrs Hill Osborne has a fashionable and exciting part. Miss Lottie Lyell, who has been responsible, it is said, for the scenario, also appears in the film. A special feature of this great picture is the beautiful scenes in the Blue Mountains, also several views of Sydney’s magnificent harbour. The Box Plan is open at Mclntosh’s shop where patrons can reserve their seats, the prices are: circle 2s 2d, stalls Is Bd, children fid downstairs. To-morow (Thursday) night the second and third episode of the serial “Hidden Dangers” will also ho shown.
