In the final of the International polo tournament at Runison, New Jersey, American No. 4 team (Meadowbrook), conceding eight goals, defeated American No. 2 team (Flamingoes) by 12 to 11, thus winning the famous Herbert Memorial Cup. WASHINGTON, Sept 2. White House announces Air Harding is greatly pleased by the toleration shown by the French acceptance of the Reparation Commission’s plan to suspend the remaining Gorman, payments for 1922. He " practically promises active participation by United States in the settlement of European financial economic problems, whenever European statesmen agree; that such aid will be most effective.
