IRISH PARLIAMENT. LONDON, August 31. In view of Mr Cosgrove’s definite assurance that the Dail Eireann will meet on the 9th. September, the Irish Labour Party has withdrawn its threat to resign.
An unarmed motor launch, conveying British artillerymen, when going to Queenstown to collect the Garrison’s mail was fired upon from tin* shore ol Cork Harbour. Four men were seriously wounded. Outrages continue in many parts ol Ireland. The compensation, claims now amount to eight and three-quarter million sterling.
