I TOM POLLARD BEN3t. I [by TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH, August 30. Mr Tom Pollard, for many years con-, nected with the theatrical profession and-well-known as a producer of musical plays, died here to-day after a long illness. He was head of the well-known Pollard Opera Cov., of a couple of decades ago. His eldest son is Mr ,T. J. Pollard editor of the Southland “Times”. Invercargill.
