\t the Magistrate’s Court. Greymouth, yesterday, John Kenvple, Robinson ar.d McGee, of Moana, aero charged with being in possession ol trout during a closed season. After hearing evidence Mr Meldrum, S.M., sai l with regard to the ease* against Keinpie, McGee had wanted to take the sole responsibility. He thought this was done to free Komple from blame. There was nothing to make him believe the ranger would ""ant to come to Court to swear untruths, the three men were in it. and "ere a sharing in the trout. The minimum penalty was £2. Each defendant would he fined that amount.
