BOY OVER PRECIPICE. VEVEY, July 7. Wliile a party of school children on an excursion up Mount Pleiades, near Vevey, were playing near the summit, three ran towards a steep slope, which ends in a precipice. Unable to stop himself, the first boy fell over and was crushed 1,200 ft. below. The second boy, who clutched a shrub, was rescued from his position only after two hours’ efforts, dpring which time his little sister continued to exhort liim not to let go.
