On Wednesday at, the Hari Hnri Yards. .Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. held a special sale- of dairy stock on account Mr If. Curby of Evans’ Creek. There was a good attendance of buyers and competition was animated throughout. The majority of the springers were young cows, second and third calf, and sold well. The best price being 15 i guineas for two third calves, one a shorthorn and the other a Jersey shorthorn cross. Springing heifers made up to 121 guineas. The whole entry was cleared up at satisfactory prires. The following prices were paid. Two cows at 18 gns, one at 11 gns, one at 11 a gns, two at 151 gns. two at 14 J gns, one at 12f gns, one at 81 gns, one 'at 9* gns. two at 101 gns. one heifer at 121 gns, four at Hi gnstwo at 12 gns. two at 51 gns,. one Holstein Bull at 111 gn.s. On account of Mr D. Graham, two dry cows at ;2 gns. one heifer at 51 gns, three cows at 2 gns. On acount Mr G. MacMillan, 2 fat cows at 51 gns.
