H. B. WARNER TO-NIGHT.
H. 13. Warner's finished ability as an actor of strong dramatic roles is fully displayed in “Dice of Destiny” the starring attraction at the Princess Tlpeatrp to-night. This feature stars Mr Warner in the role of a- famous jewel thief and is undoubtedly i his best. There are several situations in this attraction that for dramatic intensity have not been equalled. One of these' arises when Jimmy Doyle (H. B. Warner) meets the detective: “If you ever fpnfrie' me Tierney, because T am an ex-ebnvlct I’ll kill you, if it’s the last thing I do.” “I never frame a crook, whs the detective's reply: “I just Wa.tch ’em and from now on you’re going tb haVe my personal attention. But the next time they met, the famous crook held the detective in' the palhV of hl's hand. This situation is one that will be remembered by all who see this picture, ns ope of the most striking in screen drama, Alice Joyce in “Her Lord and at the Princess Theatre on Thursday is seen in the finest fea- [ turo in which she lias yet appeared. The character of Indiana furnishes her material for clever picture studies of the spoiled child who becomes the obedient wife. Holmes E. Herbert plays opposite Miss Joyce and presents a British aristocrat in capable manner. Tbh cast, which includes such nahies as Walter McEwen, Frank Sheridan, Marie Shotwell, Louise Beaudeti Ilfugenc Eckcr, Jolih Sutherland aiid Icla Wn ter hi an, is well chosen. Each member is an artist in his or her line. The entire production is praiseworthy and excels the stage version in wliich Effie Shannon lin'd Herbert RfeTcey wdrh co-starred. The picture should enjoy even greater success than the play. The first episode of tlie new serial “Hidden Dangers” starring .Toe Ryan and Jean Paige will also he shown.
