WHEAT PRICES. LONDON, Aug 21
Wheat cargoes are dull, in view of the large world crop. American prices lack continental interest and declined sixpence to shilling. Parcels are in poor request, with Is to 2s decline.
COTTON TRADE. LONDON, Aug 21, Walter Gee, in a presidential address to United Textile Factory Wprkers’ Association said the cotton trade was in a most deplorable condition. There was little hope or a full recovery until exchange fluctuation ceased. Operatives wer eworst. off than before the war.
