Niles defeated Cocliet 6—2, (5—4 ; .Tones boat Borotra, 7 —5, 2—6, 6—,'i; and Davies heat Goliert, o—6, 11—9, 6—l; Davis defeated Wcrlhiem 11—2, o—6, 6—3. The drawing for the Australia versus Spain contest for the Davis Cup at Philadelphia are announced as follows: On Thursday, Patterson meets Gonmr ; and O’Hara-Wood meets Alonzo.
