Thu death ocurrcd at the Greyltiver Hospital on Tuesday of Mr William Mason aged 77 years a native of Belfast Ireland and late of Cohden. Deceased was a miner at Maori Gully in the early days, and left there over ‘2O years ago for Cohden, where he resided until entering the hospital a considerable time ago. His wife predeceased him a few years ago. Among his family are live daughters three of them being Mrs Wilkinson (Boss), Mrs Fraser (Cohden). and Mrs Hansen (Grevmouth). Three sons are James (Railway l.oeo. Department, Greymouth), William (Railway Traffic Department. Greymouth) and Jack.
