How To Save £22,500,000.
A careful estimate that rather ut; derstates the case, shows that every year in New Zealand 7, million pounds are wasted on intoxicating drink If prohibtion is not carried at the next poll, this means that in the three following years at least t 22.500,000 will bo spent on drink. Voting prohibition will stop that, save that money for other purposes. The President of the National Association of Manufacturers in the IT.S.A. writing on March 22nd.. 1022 said-“In the smaller cities, and towns and in the country districts, thousands of homes have been built willdl; would unt have been built and millions of women and children have been provided with food and clothes who would have suffered for these necessities if there were no Prohibition Amendment.” Prohibition is just common-sense.
