[RY TELEGRAPH PER PRESS ASSOCIATION] RHODES SCHOLAR. WELLINGTON, Aug 10. A public farewell was tendered to Mr C. 0. Aitken, the Rhodes Scholar and athlete, who leaves on Saturday for England. The Mayor presided. Representatives, of the Government, the Opposition, and civil and educational authorities were, present, and congratulatory speeches were made.
