The House met at 2.30 p.in. 11l the House, niter the disposal ol the formai business, the whole afternoon sitting was occupied by ti discussion on the second reading of the Child Sustenance 15:11 introduced by .Mr Mitchell. At 5.30 p.ni. the debate was adjourned. At .7.30 the House went into committee on the Tariff Agreement (N.Z. ami Au-t rnlhi , liatification Hill, wbi was reported without amendment. ’I l.c bill was read thirdly and passed. The I .oral Bodies Loans Amendment Hill was : 1-n read a third time and passed. The House rose at 11.22 p.m.
