CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 2

Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: Store sheep.- A small yarding, most ly aged and inferior ewes, but; all classes of sheep sold well. Best young ewes up to 3is, others from 22s to 27s aged and inferior from 14s to 20s; best ewe hoggets up to 25s Od; good forward wethers ,18s to 20s. . There was a. good demand for all classes of fresh and forward sheep. Store Cattle.—Another very small entry and no quotable line.s offering. Rigs.— An average yarding all round and lire market generally was much firmer than last sale, as the yardings were hardly sufficient for 2

weeks’ supply. Corkers, medium 45s to 50s; heavier, 55s to £3 3s; baeoiiers £3 ox to £4 os extra to £5; choppers £3 10s to £(), extra to £lO.
