WELLINGTON, August 2. THE COUNCIL. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Surveyors Institute and Board of Examiners Amendment Bill was received from the House and read a first time. The Council rose at 2.36 p.m.
THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. In the House, the whole of the sitting was occupied with a discussion on the Licensing Committee’s report, winch finally was ordered to lie on the table and be printed.
