Messrs M. Houston and Co. offered for sale by auction at noon to-day, the Knnieri Sawmill Coy., Ltd., properties which were disposed of as follows: Lt 1.— Cutting rights over 1131 acres at. Koiternngi to Mr F. AV. Deighton (Christchurch), at £3OOO. Lot 2.—Sawmill and plant on Kokntalii road, near Knnieri, to Mr E. W. Deighton at £l,lOO. Lot 3.—Cutting rights over acres of bush, white pine on Section 1452, sawmill and plant, Stoney Creek. 81 acres freehold with partly erected sawmill, and tramway rights, to Mr ],' yy. Deighton (Christchurch) at £II,OOO. .
