SULLIVAN—CLEERE.

A very pretty wedding followed by nuptial muss was celebrated on Wednes':iy morning at St Mary’s Church by the llev Father lliordan of Ross, when Mr John Sullivan, the wellkn -wn s.’tUcr of Weheka, South Westland, was united to Miss Airastasia ( lei re, s eond .youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Pierce Cloore, llrownsLown, Kilkenny, Ireland. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother-in-law, Mr J. Fitzgerald, was beautifully gowned in an ivory crepe de chine frock* prettily worked. She also wore the usual veil and orange blossorfts, and carried a shower bouquet of hot house flowers and maiden hair fern. Miss Kate Hourke attended the bride and wore a white serge coat frock and hat to match and also carried a shower bouquet. Mr Harry Williams, nephew of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a handsome gold watch and the bridegroom’s present to the bride a gold bangle and brooch set wjtli acquamarines. and to the bridesmaid a wristlet watch. As the bridal party left the church, the Wedding March was played by Miss Mary Hevaney. The wedding breakfast was held at the residence of Mrs J. Fitzgerald (sister of the bride!, the usual toasfs being duly honored. The bride and bridegroom left at 1.30 by ear for Greymoutli. en route for the North Island, where the honeymoon is to lie spent. theTnide’s travelling dress being; a navy tailored costume, pretty black hat relieved with henna and gold ; she also wore a henna coat. The wedding presents which were costly and useful testified to the popularity of the young ootiple, who will carry with them the best wishes of their many friend® for their future happiness,
