It is understood that Dooley moved at the Caucus during the week, calling on MeGirr t.o substantiate his charges against the ex-Minister at the recent conference. The discussion was adjourned till Tuesday. The Labour Party .executive in the meantime has ordered the Caucus to drop the matter. It is suggested that some members will refuse, and intend to dc f.v the executive. It is also suggested that feelers have been thrown out by Moderates, with a. view to joining the Progressives, hut this contingency is unlikely.

CHARGE AGAINST LABOUR SYDNEY, July 17
A ease lias commenced in which the Graziers’ Union is proceeding against the Australian WHi kers’ Union, also Mr Henry Boote (Editor of the news-
paper “Australian Worker”), and Messrs John Barnes and Arthur Blakeley (officials of the Australian Workers’ Union) on the grounds of their encouraging persons bound by the awards under the Commonwealth Arbitration Act to refuse to accept employment.
* Counsel for the Graziers’ Association emphasised tho seriousness of the employers’ charge. He stated “that when an organisation such as tho Australian Workers’ Union was determined to flout the law, a grave situation arose. It was not only a question between employer and employed, hut one which involved the whole of Hie country.”"* Hearing of tho case was adjourned till July 21.
