Attacking Consumption. In th.' present financial condition of the cOuniry it is impossible to nationalise the work, littt the proposed course would he a fairly equitable scheme for the ratepayers and local bodies. The Government would provide its quota through the hospital boards, so that it was the nearest possible thing to nationalising the system of dealing with consumption.
