WELLINGTON, duly 13. The legislative Council met at 2.30 p.in. The debate oil the Address-in-Rcply was continued by Hons. Moore. Barr, and Izard. 'lne Council rose at 4.56 "'p.m. The House met at 2.30 p.m. The debate was continued by Messrs Burnett, Smith, (Taranaki), Lysnar, and Massey. At 9.30 p.m. a division was taken on Air Wilford’s no-confidence amendment, resulting in the amendment being defeated by 37 to 20. The debate was adjourned on the motion of Mr Holland, nncj the House rose st 9.45 p.in.
