At Belfast, Battle of the Boyne celebrations, fifty thousand Orangemen ‘with hands and banners went in procession through the city. One hundred thousand demonstrated later at Bally lessen. Police, troops and great numbers of armoured cars were stationed at danger points. The Republicans officially claim the possession of the entire countryside from County Kerry in the South West to Newtonharry in County Wexford on the East and from Kerry to County Mayo in the North.
